It’s kind of official: Huawei is bringing the mid-range Huawei Y7p to the Philippines, thanks to a number of online posts promoting the product.

Huawei Y7p specs:

  • 2.2GHz octa-core Kirin 710F
    Mali-G51 GPU
  • 4GB RAM
  • 64GB storage, expandable via micro SD up to 512GB
  • Triple rear camera setup:
    48MP main
    8MP ultra-wide
    2MP triple-rear cameras
  • 8MP punch-hole front camera
  • 4G LTE, Dual SiM
  • Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.0, GPS
  • 3.5mm jack, fingerprint scanner (rear)
  • EMUI 9.1 (Android 9 Pie)
  • 4,000mAh battery

First posted by Davao-based TekPhones and later by CMKCellphones, the Huawei Y7p will retail in the country for Php9,990. This is essentially the successor to the Y7 Pro released last year.

We’ve also confirmed with different promoters in malls that the phone will arrive on February 29. More details to come as we approach the launch date.
