HMD Global has announced its most affordable smartphone in the Philippines to date: the Nokia C1.

The C1 is the first smartphone to break the sub-Php5k range at launch, since HMD Global took charge of creating Nokia-branded devices. It features a 5.45-inch display, a single rear camera, and 2GB of RAM. It also has Android GO on board, with the current version set at Android Pie.

The Nokia C1 is now available in Nokia concept stores and kiosks, authorized dealers, and online through Shopee for Php2,999.
