OPPO’s new Find X2 to sport a 120Hz display

Smoother, more buttery experience awaits

OPPO’s newest flagship phone called the Find X2 is probably a few weeks away from being revealed, but we’re tipped with some of the features that come with the device.

A key element to their new device — 120Hz display refresh rate — has been revealed by no less than the brand’s PR executive Brian Shen in a tweet.

We’re seeing phone brands jump to higher screen refresh rates in the past months, partly due to smoother animations and more fluid performance coming from the display. To quickly note, the OPPO Find X released in 2018 only had a standard 60Hz AMOLED display.

OPPO seems to bank on display innovations this year in its newest models. The 120Hz display is just one of many technologies that the company seems to be keeping under wraps, and we hope to see more of them soon.
