The new budget gaming monster is here

Realme’s newest smartphone, the Realme 6i, is now official in the country! The phone features a newly-designed MediaTek Helio G80 chip, as well as a quad rear camera and a monstrous 5000mAh battery.

The brand is also generous enough to put in a much-clamored feature under Php10,000. This is a feature normally seen on above-PHP10k phones such as last year’s Realme 5 Pro. Realme also claims that the 6i is the successor to last year’s Realme 5 as it upgrades this year’s lineup of devices.

The backplate is done by renowned designer Naoto Fukasawa. Along with the 6i, he’s adding to his ever-growing resume doing the design for the company’s Realme X series Master Edition smartphones, as well as doing the product development and design at MUJI. His design is famous for being relatively simple but striking. Realme 6i was inpired by designing a phone with a concept of nature.

Here’s how you can get this phone: Two variants will be available online first at Lazada, with prices as follows: PHP 7,990 (3GB + 64gb) and PHP 9,990 (4GB + 128GB). The company will also slash PHP 500 off their SRPs during special flash sales on May 15 and 20, bring the price down to PHP 7,490 and PHP 9,490, respectively.
