realme earlier this month unveiled the realme GT 2 Series, its most premium and most powerful flagship smartphone series to date.

Here is a rundown of the top features of the realme GT 2 Series:

Eco-friendly design

realme has collaborated with industrial designer Naoto Fukasawa in creating a bio-based polymer design inspired by paper art – an industry first. At the exterior of the realme GT 2 Pro Master Edition is a sustainable Sabic bio-based material extracted from renewable raw materials such as paper pulp and fallen leaves. The materials used can reduce carbon emissions by up to 63% per kilogram and potential fossil feedback consumption by up to 35%.

In addition, the design has passed the International Sustainability and Carbon Certification (ISCC) and other extremely stringent environmental regulation standards such as REACH, RoHS, and EPEAT.

2K AMOLED display with LTPO 2.0

At the front of the GT2 Pro is a flat 2K AMOLED display that is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass Victus. It sports 10 bit and 1.07 billion colors, JNCD value 0.5, up to 5,000,000:1 contrast ratio, and is HDR10+ certified and received a DisplayMate A+ grade.

Thanks to LTPO 2.0 technology, the screen can adaptively refresh the screen up to 120Hz which provides smooth visuals while consuming low energy.

Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 Processor

Powering the realme GT 2 Pro is the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 CPU that adopts the 4nm-process technology and the world’s first ARM v9 architecture. The new CPU delivers 30% peak performance and sustained efficiency.

Also found inside the GT 2 Pro is a large heat dissipation area measuring at 36761mm2 that reduces the temperature up to 3-degrees Celsius which in effect, maximizes the CPU’s performance.

150-degree Ultra-wide Camera and 40x micro-lens Camera

At the back of the realme GT 2 Pro is a 50MP triple camera setup featuring the world’s first 150-degree ultra-wide camera and a 40x micro-lens camera.

The 50MP main camera boasts a Sony IMX766 sensor with Omni-directional PDAF and OIS. While the 150-degree ultra-wide camera features a built-in fish-eye mode that can capture extreme panoramas. On the other hand, the 40x micro-lens camera can take extreme close-ups, just like a microscope.

On top of everything, the realme GT 2 Pro is equipped with a 65W SuperDart Charge, 5000mAh battery, an Antenna Matrix System, Dolby Atmos Dual Stereo Speakers, and realme UI 3.0 based on Android 12.

In addition, the realme GT 2 shares the same features including a 120Hz E4 AMOLED display, Snapdragon 888 5G CPU, Stainless Steel Vapor Cooling Plus, and coordinate GT Mode 3.0

There is no word yet on the local pricing and availability of the realme GT 2 Series. Stay tuned for further details.
