Insta360 has officially launched the Flow 2 in the Philippines—a redesigned smartphone gimbal built for content creators, vloggers, and everyday users who want smoother video footage from their phones. This second-generation model improves on the original Flow with upgraded AI tracking, better battery life, and new accessories like a wireless mic and teleprompter feature.

Why it Matters: Smartphone gimbals help users shoot steady video, but many models are expensive or hard to use. Flow 2 tries to strike a balance between ease of use, power, and price—especially with the Pro version offering features like 360 pan tracking and Free Tilt mode for more advanced shots.
The Flow 2 supports 3-axis stabilization and introduces NFC One-Tap Shooting for faster pairing on select phones. There’s also Deep Track 4.0, which now supports multi-person and improved subject tracking—even when partially obstructed. The device folds down to pocket size, includes a selfie stick and metal tripod, and has a 10-hour battery life that can charge your phone while filming.

iPhone users can control the gimbal using an Apple Watch, while Android users can auto-launch the camera by unfolding the device. Flow 2 also comes with an AI Tracker that works with third-party apps and a new Pro Framing Grid for better composition using golden ratio presets.
A separate Mic Air accessory allows hands-free wireless audio recording. Combined with a built-in Teleprompter in the Insta360 app, it supports uses like tutorials, product demos, and live selling.
