Amazfit T-Rex Pro is now official in the Philippines. The smartwatch has passed 15 military-grade tests and can withstand most kinds of extreme conditions and challenges. It has health and fitness tracking functions that include outdoor sports modes.
The smartwatch upfront has a 1.3-inch always-on AMOLED display with a Silicone strap. It is shock-resistant and can be used under extreme weather, ultra-dry deserts, and humid rainforests. It also has a water-resistance grade of 10 ATM, up to 18 days of battery life, and supports four global navigation satellite systems. In addition, it has a blood-oxygen saturation measurement as well as a barometric altimeter and compass. Moreover, its weather tracker has a sunrise and sunset monitor and a current moon phase display.
It supports over 100 different sports modes and can track the user’s heart rate, distance, speed, and calories burned. Firstbeat algorithm assesses the maximum oxygen uptake, full recovery time, and training load, and lets the user know their progress and accomplishments. While the ExerSense algorithm also automatically recognizes eight sports modes and records all related data.
The Amazfit T-Rex Pro is equipped with the BioTracker 2 PPG Bio-Tracking Optical Sensor, which performs precise heart rate monitoring 24 hours a day and gives an alert if the user’s heart rate gets too high. It also tracks heart rate variability (HRV) to record the user’s response to stress.
Through its proprietary Personal Activity Intelligence (PAI) health assessment system, the Amazfit T-Rex Pro offers personalized evaluations. PAI takes all the data collected from workouts, heart rate, and other tracked data and provides a single numerical value as the unique health score and evaluation for the user.
Thanks to Amazfit’s SomnusCare sleep-quality monitoring feature, it can recognize different sleep states such as the light, deep, and REM sleep stages. It can detect daytime naps, and monitor potential breathing problems when the user is asleep. It can also set alarms, notify incoming texts, calls, and reminders. Music control on the phone from the watch is also possible.

The Amazfit T-Rex Pro is priced at PHP 8,090 and comes in three colors: Meteorite Black, Desert Grey, and Steel Blue. It will be available for pre-order at Amazfit’s official store on Shopee and Lazada and the first 100 customers who will purchase will get a YI 1080p Dome Camera. Its retail rollout will begin on September 3, 2021.
