TCL Cool Truck Brought Summer Relief to Metro Manila’s Hottest Spots

As Metro Manila endured one of its hottest summers on record, TCL rolled out a mobile solution to beat the heat: the TCL Cool Truck. From May 10 to 24, 2025, the first-ever Cool Truck activation in the Philippines made its way to Fort Santiago in Intramuros and Trinoma Mall, offering instant relief to residents and visitors exposed to daily temperatures breaching 40°C.

Why It Matters: With limited access to public cooling spaces and soaring electricity costs, many Filipinos have been left with few options to escape the heat. TCL’s initiative bridged that gap by providing a direct and interactive way for the public to experience its latest cooling technology, especially in high-traffic urban areas.

Designed around the newly launched FreshIN 3.0 inverter air conditioner, the TCL Cool Truck transformed into a moving lounge and product demo hub. It served as both a cooling station and an immersive experience, showcasing how TCL’s technology could bring practical comfort into everyday lives.

The truck featured various themed rooms equipped with TCL’s air conditioners and smart appliances. Visitors were welcomed by the FreshIN 3.0 units, known for their Offline Voice Control, T-AI 37%+ Energy Saving Technology, and QuadruPuri Filters. These features were demonstrated live, giving people a chance to see—and feel—how TCL’s systems cooled the air efficiently while helping reduce power consumption.

A co-working area with free Wi-Fi allowed freelancers and students to take a break from the heat while trying out the FreshIN 3.0’s capabilities. TCL also set up a quieter Book Nook area, where guests could unwind or create social media content in a relaxing, odor-free environment thanks to the FreshIN system’s air purification functions.

To add an interactive element, the Cool Truck also hosted a reflex game where participants competed for TCL merchandise, blending fun with functionality.

TCL Philippines Brand Manager Joseph Cernitchez said the mobile cooling truck was the company’s way of “meeting Filipinos where they are” and demonstrating the real-world value of their air conditioning solutions.

“We wanted people to experience firsthand how our air conditioning technology delivers real comfort, not just in showrooms but in everyday spaces,” he said.

The Cool Truck activation wrapped up on May 24, 2025, leaving behind a strong impression on those who stepped inside. It successfully brought TCL’s latest cooling tech directly to the public, showing that staying cool during extreme heat doesn’t have to come at a high energy cost.

Were you able to visit the TCL Cool Truck? Would you want to see more of these mobile experiences in other cities?
