Attention to all GCash users!
If you relayed too much on SMS or Text Confirmation if your cash has been transferred to your recipient, this might change now.
GCash informs its users that beginning October 25, 2022, bank transfer confirmations were moved to the in-app GCash inbox. Users also have the option to check the transaction history by tapping the “Transactions” button on the app itself.
These changes are made to make these features “instantly accessible and more secure” for all its users.
Confirmation text messages containing sending money, and paying bills have already moved to the app inbox earlier this year.
