Globe Telecom (Globe) has maintained its mobile consistency score of 81.99% in the National Capital Region and 76% nationwide according to the Ookla Speedtest Intelligence report as of Q3 2021. In comparison, other mobile service providers globally such as T-Mobile (US) measured 84.8%, Videotron (Canada) at 87.4%, and Telekom (Germany) at 90.1%.
The Mobile Consistency Score measures the number of customer data transaction incidence of a service provider that equals or exceeds both a download threshold of at least 5 Mbps and an upload threshold of at least 1 Mbps.

By using the latest technology like 5G, complemented by our sustained network rollouts and modernization, we are giving our customers the best possible mobile and data experience that will help them in their everyday needs,” said Ernest Cu, Globe President, and CEO.
In addition, Globe has increased its budget this year to PHP 76 billion to improve its network with the bulk mostly allocated to expand its 5G network.
As of September 2021, Globe has already fired up its 5G network in over 1,900 locations in the Philippines with 95% of it being located in the National Capital Region. They have also installed one million fiber-to-home lines, constructed new cell towers, and upgraded at least 12,900 sites as of the end of September.
