Two new phones have been released in the market at identical price points: the returning HONOR with the HONOR 70 5G, and the Huawei nova 10, both aiming for vloggers with their camera-centric features, stunning phone design, and a sub-PHP30k price point. Who reigns supreme? Here’s a quick comparison.

The HONOR 70 5G and the Huawei nova 10 both offer a lot of the same hardware: Full-HD OLED display with 120Hz resolution and HDR10+ support, the same 8GB/256GB RAM and storage configuration, Dual SIM, and 66W fast charging capability. Their vlogging features also differ: Huawei focused on 4K video recording in selfies, while HONOR has the Solo Cut Mode, an AI tracking feature that enables the user to record a second video focusing on a selected subject on top of the current one.
HONOR’s newest mid-range phone, however, triumphs in a lot of aspects: the Snapdragon processing chip with better performance and 5G connectivity, better camera resolution for both main and ultrawide sensors, bigger battery capacity, and the fact that it has Google Mobile Services with MagicUI based on Android 12. The performance also speaks for itself as we measured both phones on AnTuTu: 554,971 for the 70 5g versus the 495,730 on the nova 10.
Huawei’s phone, on the other hand, only trumps in the selfie camera department with a better selfie camera resolution and dual loudspeakers.
