Mark the date. This September 2, HUAWEI will release a new generation of TWS earbuds, the HUAWEI FreeBuds Pro 2.
It features a unique ‘Ultra-hearing True Sound Dual Driver’ sound system that intelligently harmonizes two drivers, making them work to elevate your audio experience. It uses a planar diaphragm to produce bright and precise treble and overtones which is commonly found in expensive earbuds. Overall, it covers a wide range of frequencies, spanning from 14Hz up to 48kHz to truly present accurate sounds and delivers deeper bass.
FreeBuds Pro 2 is equipped with ‘Triple Adaptive EQ’ technology that scans your ear canal structure giving you a tuned and personalized audio profile backed by its LDAC high-resolution audio codec protocol which further optimizes the user’s audio experience for ultra-high definition listening.
No doubt that all of these can be achieved as HUAWEI FreeBuds Pro 2 is co-engineered with Devialet to achieve a seamless sound quality and listening experience.
Improved Audio Noise Cancellation
Its Active Noise Cancellation has also improved through its ‘Triple Mic ANC System’ which bumped up ANC depth up to 15% compared to first-gen. On the other hand, the ‘Intelligent Dynamic ANC 2.0’ listens and analyzes surrounding noises in real-time to pick which noise-canceling mode suits you.

Automatic Call Switching!
Automatic call switching is now on FreeBuds Pro 2! Its dual connection feature allows you to connect across Huawei devices (some optionally through the Super Device screen) as well as with Android, iOS, and Windows smart systems, two at a time. The ‘Audio Connection Center’ will let you view a history of devices to which your earbuds were connected. Although it is similarly designed to first-gen FreeBuds Pro, the second-gen is now slimmer and lighter. Earbuds can now withstand rain and sweat as it is now equipped with IP54 certification for water and splash resistance.
HUAWEI FreeBuds Pro 2 promises long battery life even in its small form factor. You can enjoy 4 hours of playback time and a total of 18 hours with the case and ANC on. Meanwhile, when ANC is off, you can enjoy a longer 6.5 hours of listening time, and a total of 30 hours with the case.
The charging case now supports reverse wireless charging with a compatible phone or tablet.
As said earlier, the HUAWEI FreeBuds Pro 2 will be available for pre-order starting this September 2 to 8. Those who pre-ordered during the said period will get a Huawei Band 6 worth P2,599.
