Globe offers new GFiber postpaid plans with no lock-up and low upfront fee

Globe has launched its new GFiber Plans, offering internet speeds of up to 1.5Gbps for home users. The updated plans include no installation fees, no lock-up period, and a low one-peso initial payment.

Why it matters: With high-speed internet becoming a necessity for work, school, and entertainment, Globe is aiming to attract more users by removing common barriers such as expensive upfront costs and long contract commitments.

The new plans are available under Globe At Home’s GFiber Postpaid lineup, which includes a WiFi 6 modem to support multiple devices. Some plans also come with free subscriptions to Disney+ and Blast TV, as well as vouchers and tech support services.

Here are the details of the available plans:

GFiber Plan 1999

  • Speed: Up to 500 Mbps
  • Inclusions: WiFi 6 modem, Disney+ Premium Annual Plan, Blast TV subscription

GFiber Plan 2799

  • Speed: Up to 700 Mbps
  • Inclusions: All benefits from Plan 1999
  • Additional: Php5,000 TP-Link Mesh voucher, one Globe Home Squad visit, VIP Hotline access

GFiber Plan 4999

  • Speed: Up to 1 Gbps
  • Same inclusions as Plan 2799

GFiber Plan 7499

  • Speed: Up to 1.5 Gbps
  • Same inclusions as Plan 4999

Customers can now sign up for these plans with only a one-peso upfront payment, replacing the previous PHP2,998 initial fee. Installation is also free, and there is no required lock-up period, giving users the option to try the service without long-term commitment.
