Infinix GT 30 Pro Review: Design and Construction
The GT 30 Pro makes a strong first impression with its striking aesthetics and functional build. The design balances gamer-centric accents with subtle elements for broader appeal.
Let’s look at the sides. The GT 30 Pro has a Dual SIM tray, a USB-C port, a microphone, and a bottom-firing loudspeaker.

Up atop are grilles for the call loudspeaker that serves as the second loudspeaker for a stereo audio experience, as well as an IR blaster and an ANC microphone to help make voice clearer in calls.

The right side of the phone has the GT triggers, which we’ll discuss later. The power and lock button and the volume keys, as a result, are placed much lower than most devices and are very easy to reach in one-handed operation.

The Mechanical Light Waves that complement our Shadow Ash variant at the back serve both form and function, flashing for notifications, charging, or in-game triggers. While the materials are mostly plastic, the matte finish feels premium and reduces fingerprints.
The protruding camera area is made smaller compared to its predecessor to give you a better handgrip when holding the phone in landscape. They are well-integrated, with a tactile, ergonomic feel in hand. Weighing in at 189g, it’s relatively light for a gaming phone. The added IP64 rating gives added peace of mind for outdoor use, so you can use it even in light rain drizzle too.
Infinix GT 30 Pro Review: Display and Audio
Infinix gets a lot right with the display. The 6.78-inch AMOLED with a 144Hz refresh rate and 1.5K resolution is sharp, vibrant, and fast. Viewing angles are wide, and color reproduction is punchy. The peak brightness of up to 4500 nits (local boost) makes it usable even under harsh sunlight, especially handy for outdoor gaming.
The responsiveness of the display is amplified by touch enhancements in X-BOOST, giving faster and more accurate input detection. This makes it easier to execute critical movements in competitive scenarios.

The stereo speakers tuned by JBL provide decent separation and clarity. While not the loudest in the class, the audio experience is immersive enough for solo play without headphones. Support for Hi-Res and Hi-Res Wireless Audio is a plus for audiophiles.
Infinix GT 30 Pro Review: Camera
The 108MP and the 8MP ultrawide main shooter do a good job in daylight, capturing detail with decent dynamic range despite the extra sharpness done in postprocessing.

Colors are generally good, but sometimes I wonder why snapping the same scene consecutively doesn’t yield the same result at times, as it may come off in different brightness. Maybe a software update will fix this.
The 13MP selfie camera is surprisingly capable, with support for 4K video, a rare inclusion for phones at this price range. While it’s not a content creation powerhouse, it’s more than enough for casual users and streamers to capture their daily moments.
Infinix GT 30 Pro Review: Performance
This is where the GT 30 Pro stands out. The Dimensity 8350 Ultimate chipset delivers consistent, high-end performance, pushing the device to an AnTuTu score of over 1.5 million. Backed by UFS 4.0 storage and LPDDR5X RAM, everything from boot time to game loading is smooth and quick.
Multitasking is a breeze with it, and with support for All-Day 120 FPS System, the GT 30 Pro offers frame rate stability in gaming that’s often reserved for higher-end phone models. Here are supported games with up to 120 FPS:

- Mobile Legends: Bang Bang
- PUBG Mobile
- Honor of Kings
- Free Fire
- Dead Cells
- Shadowgun Legends
- Armajet
- Real Racing 3
- Grimvalor
- Oddmar
- Frag Pro Shooter
The GT Trigger shoulder buttons are pressure-sensitive and highly responsive. You can map in-game commands depending on the genre. They’re also programmable as system shortcuts, a feature that enhances usability beyond gaming.
In MOBAs like MLBB, triggers help with quick access to skills or buying equipment. In FPS titles, they give you more finger freedom for actions like scope-and-shoot or crouch-fire combos. Add in the XBOOST features like Touch Boost and Audio Boost, and the experience is nearly console-like.
The phone’s performance is not limited to just the gaming aspect. You can still use it as a normal smartphone in times you don’t need to play, and there are a lot of AI features you can use to enhance your daily life. I personally find the recording and AI summary feature really handy, especially when doing meetings, and the AI writing assistant is like your mini-Grammarly inside the device.
XOS 15, based on Android 15, is clean and very straightforward. If you’re coming from another Android brand, the navigation is nearly the same. There are some apps pre-installed from the get-go, but you can always have the choice to remove them at your discretion. Infinix promises two years of software updates for the device, which is quite the standard for most phones at its price point.

Network connectivity via Wi-Fi 6 and 5G ensures low latency and faster downloads. The software side is clean, with Android 15 and Infinix’s XOS 15 offering a solid blend of customization and usability. Google services and gaming optimization are baked in.
Infinix GT 30 Pro Review: Battery and Charging
The GT 30 Pro packs a 5500mAh battery, both offering reliable endurance. In mixed usage, it comfortably lasts a full day, while continuous gaming with the MagCharge Cooler yields around 6-7 hours.

The inclusion of 45W wired charging and 30W wireless charging, along with reverse charging, is rare in this category. What I like about this is the fact that you can bypass charging. The built-in Bypass Charging 2 feature helps manage thermals during intense play.
The Rundown

The Infinix GT 30 Pro is ideal for gamers who demand sustained high performance, not just short bursts of speed. It suits players who want fluid FPS and MOBA sessions, streamers who want a reliable front cam, and power users who value quick charging and audio quality. It’s also a strong choice for first-time gaming phone buyers looking for real value.
The Infinix GT 30 Pro will be available at Infinix Stores and Kiosks and authorized dealers nationwide, as well as online stores on Shopee, Lazada, and TikTok Shop at PHP 13,999 and PHP 15,999 for the Blade White and Shadow Ash variants with 8GB/256GB and 12GB/512GB RAM and storage capacities, respectively, and will come with the Gaming Kit as a freebie. The Gaming Edition, featuring a package of the Dark Flare variant, will come at PHP 14,999 and PHP 16,999, respectively.
