Xiaomi has launched its new flagship smartphones, the Xiaomi 15T and Xiaomi 15T Pro, at a global event in Munich, Germany. The devices bring upgraded Leica-powered cameras, new connectivity features, and refined designs.

Why it Matters: The T-series has often been positioned as Xiaomi’s performance-focused line, and with the debut of the 15T series, the brand is introducing its most advanced imaging system yet, alongside a first-of-its-kind offline communication feature.
Both phones come with Leica triple-camera systems. The Xiaomi 15T Pro debuts a Leica 5x Pro telephoto camera offering 5x optical zoom, 10x optical-level zoom, and up to 20x Ultra Zoom. Its 50MP main sensor is paired with a Leica Summilux lens at f/1.62 and a Light Fusion 900 image sensor with 13.5 EV dynamic range. The base Xiaomi 15T uses a similar 50MP Summilux main camera at f/1.7 with a Light Fusion 800 sensor, supported by ultra-wide and telephoto lenses. A 32MP selfie camera is present on both models.
Xiaomi has also introduced AISP 2.0, its computational photography platform, which enhances portraits, colors, and low-light performance. The Pro variant can shoot 8K video and 4K at up to 120fps, while both models support HDR10+ video across focal lengths.
For connectivity, Xiaomi unveiled Astral Communication, which includes Xiaomi Offline Communication. This allows voice calls between two devices without cellular or Wi-Fi, up to 1.9km on the Pro and 1.3km on the base model. Both phones also come with HyperOS 3, featuring a redesigned interface and enhanced multitasking.
The phones feature a 6.83-inch AMOLED display with 1.5K resolution and 3200 nits peak brightness. The Pro supports 144Hz refresh rate and DC dimming, while the base model supports 120Hz with 3840Hz PWM dimming.

Powering the devices are MediaTek processors: the Dimensity 9400+ for the 15T Pro and Dimensity 8400-Ultra for the 15T. Both come with a 5500mAh battery. The Pro supports 90W wired and 50W wireless charging, while the base variant supports 67W wired charging.
Design-wise, both devices carry IP68 certification and Gorilla Glass 7i protection. The Pro model has a high-strength aluminum alloy frame and comes in Black, Gray, and Mocha Gold. The Xiaomi 15T comes in Black, Gray, and Rose Gold.

The Xiaomi 15T Pro starts at €799, while the Xiaomi 15T starts at €649. Both come in multiple storage options and will be available in select global markets.
