Canon Marketing Philippines hosted the launch of the EOS R6 Mark III on November 21, 2025, at Gallio in Aseana City. The event gathered media professionals and content creators for a closer look at Canon’s latest full-frame camera, built for both photography and video work as demand for hybrid tools continues to rise in the country.

The EOS R6 Mark III introduces 7K 60p RAW recording and Canon’s first 3:2 Open Gate mode in the EOS R series, allowing users to reframe content for different formats including vertical reels. It carries a 32.5-megapixel sensor with up to 40 frames per second burst shooting and can capture up to 150 frames in rapid sequence. A pre-continuous shooting mode captures up to 20 frames before the shutter is fully pressed, meant for unpredictable moments in fast-moving scenes.
Canon also equipped the camera with Dual Pixel CMOS AF II with subject detection for people, animals, and vehicles. It records up to 4K 120p with Canon Log 2 and Log 3 support. The body features in-body stabilization rated up to 8.5 stops, a vari-angle touchscreen, a 3.69-million-dot OLED viewfinder, and dual card slots for CFexpress Type B and UHS-II SD cards. Connectivity options include Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, and USB-C.
Guests were able to test the camera through live demos and stations during the launch. Canon executives and guest creators also shared their views on the growing content industry in the Philippines.

The regular bundle includes a CFexpress Type B card. A pre-order bundle with an LP-E6P battery will be available from December 1 to December 31, 2025.
