Huawei’s newest entry-level smarpthones are here. Meet the Huawei Y5p and Y6p, now official in the country. Both devices feature MediaTek Helio P22 chipset and EMUI based on open-source Android 10.
The Y5p is poised to be the brand’s most affordable phone in the market with a sub-Php5k price tag. Hardware includes a 5.45-inch tall display and a 3020mAh battery.

Meanwhile, the Y6p features a 6.3-inch dewdrop display, a triple rear-camera setup, and a 5000mAh battery with reverse charging support.

The Huawei Y5p and Y6p will be available in the country for PHP 5,990 (2GB RAM + 32GB storage) and PHP 4,490 (4GB RAM + 64GB storage), respectively.
The Y6p goes available first, with a pre-order from May 22 to 31 both online and offline at Lazada, Shopee, MemoXpress, Abenson, Blue Lite, Silicon Valley, and Aerophone. Those who preorder the device will also receive 15GB of Huawei Cloud storage, VIU Streaming access, and a pair of Bluetooth headset as freebies.
