Infinix has launched the Infinix NOTE Edge in the Philippines. It is a mid-range 5G smartphone with a 3D curved display, a 6,500mAh battery, and the MediaTek Dimensity 7100 processor.

The device emphasizes a slim design, extended battery life, and enhanced connectivity. It measures 7.2mm thick and weighs 185g, despite carrying one of the largest batteries in its segment.
Why It Matters: The Infinix NOTE Edge offers a large battery, a curved display, and long-term software support within the PHP 15,000 price range, a competitive segment in the Philippines.

- Display and design: The Infinix NOTE Edge features a 6.78-inch 1.5K 3D curved AMOLED display with up to 4,500 nits peak brightness. It has ultra-narrow bezels as slim as 1.87mm. The phone also comes with JBL-tuned dual stereo speakers. For durability, it uses Corning Gorilla Glass 7i and carries an IP65 rating for dust and water resistance.
It is available in Lunar Titanium, Silk Green, Stellar Blue, and Shadow Black. The Silk Green variant uses a polyurethane textured finish, while the other colors use composite materials with a matte look. - Performance and connectivity: The phone runs on the MediaTek Dimensity 7100 5G processor. Infinix claims AnTuTu V11 scores of over 810,000 points and up to 90fps support in games like Honor of Kings. Infinix also highlights 13 joint 5G optimizations with MediaTek. The device includes Ultra Powerful Signal 3.0 AI Super Signal technology, which adjusts signal performance based on usage scenarios such as streaming or gaming.
The Infinix NOTE Edge runs XOS 16 based on Android 16. It comes with up to 8GB RAM, expandable to 16GB via MemFusion. Infinix promises three Android-based XOS upgrades up to XOS 19 and five years of security patches. A customizable side One-Tap Button can activate the built-in FOLAX AI assistant for features like screen content analysis, translation, and summaries. - Battery and charging: The Infinix NOTE Edge is equipped with a 6,500mAh battery. Infinix says it can last up to 26 hours of Google Maps navigation or 22 hours of YouTube playback. It supports 45W fast charging. The company claims it can reach 50 percent in 27 minutes and full charge in 62 minutes. Infinix also introduces a self-repairing battery system designed to maintain over 80 percent battery health after 2,000 full charge cycles.
- Camera and AI features: The device uses a 50MP main camera with a 1/2-inch sensor and 0.8μm pixel size. It supports a new Live Photo mode that records 3-second clips with audio and allows exporting as GIF or MP4. System-level AI tools include built-in photo editing, SnapMemo for information organization, and FOLAX AI for voice and content assistance.
