In addition to the Galaxy S20 series, Samsung also launched its first vertically-folded smartphone called the Galaxy Z Flip.
The form factor that almost everyone rocked in the 2000s is making a comeback, this time with touch-enabled displays and more cameras and features to boot. The Z Flip sports an Infinity Flex display, similar to last year’s Galaxy Fold.
This time, Samsung made a lot of changes to make it more compact. There’s the new folding orientation which makes you feel like holding a clamshell phone. A secondary display at the back shell displays notifications when closed. The insides now offer zero-gap, thanks to a new ultra-thin glass technology that uses nylon fibers to keep the dirt away.
Samsung Galaxy Z Flip specs:

Samsung still has a selfie camera inside whenever you need to take a selfie (either semi-folded or fully opened), and a dual rear camera setup outside. There are two sets of batteries that make up to 3300mAh. That’s not very flagship-esque in this era, but is a given considering the form factor it has.
The Galaxy Z Flip will be available in the Philippines in limited quantities for Php 79,990 starting February 21, 2020. There’s also a Thom Browne Limited Edition variant, with the designer’s signature colors in view. This one, though, will be unraveled more in the upcoming Fashion Week.
