Shopee, a leading e-commerce platform in Southeast Asia, Taiwan, and Brazil, has launched a new program to help high-potential Filipino micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs) expand their online presence.

The Shopee Tatak Pinoy: Sibol Accelerator Program (SAP) is a six-month growth initiative under the broader Shopee Tatak Pinoy program. It is designed to provide selected sellers with guidance and resources to strengthen their business foundations and achieve sustainable growth.

Why it Matters: The Shopee Tatak Pinoy: Sibol Accelerator Program goes beyond typical online selling support by giving Filipino MSMEs hands-on mentorship and growth tools. With structured guidance across marketing, fulfillment, and business planning, the program helps sellers scale strategically, reach more customers, and compete in a digital economy that is increasingly central to local business success. For the wider community, supporting MSMEs means more jobs, more local products online, and stronger economic growth across the Philippines.

The program follows the 2025 Shopee Tatak Pinoy MSME Roadshow and represents Shopee’s continued investment in Filipino entrepreneurs. Participants will receive personalized mentorship, access to Shopee experts, and targeted support to unlock their next stage of growth.

“At Shopee, we believe that when MSMEs succeed, communities thrive,” said Vincent Lee, Head of Shopee Philippines. “The Shopee Tatak Pinoy Sibol Accelerator supports promising Filipino sellers in growing faster, scaling smarter, and building a lasting online presence. As we mark Shopee’s 10 years in the Philippines, this program is one of the ways we’re investing in long-term, inclusive growth.”

Program Structure and Support: The six-month SAP program starts in Q4 2025 with an intensive bootcamp to help sellers strengthen core capabilities. This is followed by tailored support and milestone-based incentives. Key learning areas include:

  • Shop and content optimization: improving product presentation, branding, and discoverability
  • Marketing and campaign planning: building strategies that drive visibility and sales
  • Affiliate and community marketing: expanding reach through creator and community partnerships
  • Fulfillment and customer experience: enhancing reliability, responsiveness, and service quality
  • Performance tracking and business planning: using data to make informed decisions

Each participant will receive a customized growth plan and structured guidance throughout the program.

Welcoming High-Potential MSMEs: The pilot SAP cohort will be by invitation only and will include 20 Filipino sellers who show readiness, commitment, and ambition to grow. Eligible MSMEs will demonstrate:

  • Consistent shop activity and customer engagement
  • A drive for continuous improvement through operational upgrades or data-informed decisions
  • Commitment to community impact and support for fellow entrepreneurs
  • Long-term vision and ambition to build a sustainable digital business

“Shopee’s Tatak Pinoy program has always championed local sellers, products, and Pinoy pride,” Lee added. “This year, we are expanding that support to MSMEs ready to scale, from first-time sellers to established businesses.”
