Smart says it’s ‘Simply Reliable’ with store presence, perks, and stronger network

Smart Communications says being reliable is no longer just about stable networks — it’s also about customer service, meaningful experiences, and practical offers.

Why it matters: Filipino mobile users often face limited support options or unreliable services. Smart says its approach of staying present through physical stores, mobile app services, and value offers ensures customers feel supported, online and offline.

Smart continues to operate 123 physical Smart Stores across the country. While other providers have moved mostly online, Smart keeps its stores open for walk-in customers who need help, want to pay bills, or ask about promos.

The company also encourages customers to use the Smart App, where they can monitor data usage, subscriptions, bills, and rewards.

For Smart Prepaid users, promos like Power All 50, 99, and 149 are available across retail channels and the app. These include data, calls, and texts. Smart Postpaid customers can also buy data or call boosters for as low as PHP199 through the app.

Smart also offers perks to postpaid users under its Postpaid Perks program. Subscribers on plans PHP999 and up can access discounts for dining, shopping, travel, and entertainment directly on the app — no points needed.

Smart is also tapping into lifestyle and entertainment experiences. In recent months, it partnered with concerts like j-hope’s April event and the 98 Degrees show in May. It gave customers exclusive promos and ticket access. The company also promoted 5G connectivity at these events, introducing 5G Standalone (SA) for better coverage in crowded venues.

Smart’s mobile network currently reaches 97% of the population. This is supported by the fiber infrastructure of its parent company, PLDT. Last December, Smart launched ‘5G Max’ in Taguig, aiming to offer improved mobile data performance in high-traffic areas.

Smart says its new message, “Simply Reliable,” reflects its long-standing role in Philippine connectivity since 1991 — and its goal to remain dependable moving forward.

In a time when convenience often means cutting corners, Smart is choosing to show up—both online and in person. By combining physical presence, consistent service, and expanded connectivity, the company aims to meet Filipinos where they are. Whether you’re resolving an account issue, catching your favorite artist live, or simply staying connected throughout the day, Smart wants to be part of that experience.
