One of the main announcements is TCL’s new SQD-Mini LED technology, which the company says improves how light is controlled across the screen. This is meant to improve contrast, brightness, and color performance compared to current Mini LED TVs.

TCL also showed the X11L, which it says is the first TV powered by this new SQD-Mini LED technology. The TV is claimed to reach up to 10,000 nits of brightness, use more than 20,000 dimming zones, and support the BT.2020 color space. It also uses a new panel type and comes with a thinner design and built-in audio tuned by Bang and Olufsen.

On the software side, TCL is expanding its work with Google TV and Dolby. The company is showing new Google TV features with Gemini integration, including improved search and creative tools. It also demonstrated Dolby Vision 2, a new version of Dolby Vision that adjusts picture settings based on content and viewing conditions. TCL says Dolby Vision 2 is planned to roll out to some of its TV models through updates in 2026.

TCL’s CES 2026 booth is open from January 6 to 9 at the Las Vegas Convention Center.

With TCL pushing both new display technology and more AI-powered home products at the same time, how soon will these features start to appear in TVs and devices that are sold in the Philippines?
