Acerpure, the lifestyle brand of Acer, has officially entered the large appliance category with the launch of Acerpure Chill. The new line features window-type air conditioners designed for Filipino households seeking energy-efficient cooling options.

Why it Matters: With rising temperatures and higher electricity costs, energy-efficient air conditioners can help households manage long-term power consumption while maintaining indoor comfort.
Since launching five years ago, Acerpure has introduced more than 20 products. The move into air conditioning marks an expansion of its portfolio as demand for home cooling solutions increases. We’ve actually seen Acer debut some of their air conditioners at last year’s Acer Day at the SM Mall of Asia Arena too.

Acerpure Chill units are equipped with a Dual Inverter Compressor, which uses two rotors to help cool rooms faster while reducing electricity use. The company says the system runs quietly, maintains stable temperatures, and is designed for longer service life compared to standard units.

The air conditioners use R32 refrigerant, which has zero Ozone Depletion Potential and lower Global Warming Potential compared to older refrigerants. Acerpure also highlights its Hydrophilic Fin Technology, which applies a protective coating on the fins to reduce corrosion and improve durability over time.
A Smart Filter Clean Indicator alerts users when it is time to clean the filter to help maintain cooling efficiency. The units also feature a top discharge design intended to reduce air recirculation, lower ground-level noise, and save horizontal space.
