LG Gallery TV debuts as lifestyle-focused Art TV at CES 2026

LG Electronics will unveil a new addition to its lifestyle screen lineup at CES 2026 with the debut of the LG Gallery TV. The new model is positioned as a dedicated digital canvas designed to complement interior spaces while expanding access to curated visual content through the LG Gallery+ service.

Why it Matters: As TVs grow larger and more central to living spaces, manufacturers are increasingly treating screens as part of interior design rather than pure entertainment devices. Products like the Gallery TV reflect a shift toward displays that serve both functional and decorative roles in the home.

Designed for users who place importance on home aesthetics, the LG Gallery TV is built to blend into living spaces rather than stand out as a traditional television. LG said the product aims to bring a gallery-like atmosphere into the home by combining display technology with art-focused presentation.

A key feature of the Gallery TV is its Gallery Mode, which was developed in collaboration with museum curators. This mode adjusts color, brightness, and contrast to better reproduce the texture and appearance of original artworks. LG said the TV uses a specialized screen that reduces glare and reflections, helping maintain an art-like appearance even in bright rooms. Picture settings also adapt automatically to changes in ambient lighting throughout the day.

The Gallery TV will be available in 55-inch and 65-inch sizes. It uses a slim, flush-mount design intended to sit close to the wall, with optional magnetic frames that allow users to change the look of the TV to match their space. LG added that the TV includes internal storage, allowing users to save and curate selected artworks and visuals locally.

Beyond art display, the Gallery TV functions as a full-featured entertainment screen. It is powered by LG’s MiniLED display technology and the Alpha 7 AI Processor, delivering 4K resolution visuals. Audio is handled by AI Sound Pro, which provides virtual 9.1.2-channel sound for movies, shows, and other content.

The experience is closely tied to the LG Gallery+ service, which LG describes as an interior-focused content platform. The service offers access to more than 4,500 artworks and visual pieces that are refreshed monthly. Content ranges from fine art and photography to cinematic scenes, game-inspired visuals, and animations.

LG Gallery+ also supports customization beyond its curated library. Users can generate images using built-in generative AI tools or display personal photos from their own collections. The service includes background music options, allowing users to select preset tracks based on mood or stream music from their own devices via Bluetooth.

LG said Gallery+ is available across its TV lineup, positioning it as a broader lifestyle platform rather than a feature limited to a single model.

LG will showcase the Gallery TV alongside its wider Art TV lineup at CES 2026, highlighting how screens can serve as design elements as well as entertainment hubs. As TVs continue to evolve, will lifestyle-focused displays become a standard feature in modern homes?
