Acer debuts AI-powered wearables and new e-mobility lineup

Acer Gadget, a subsidiary of Acer Inc., introduced two new AI-driven devices at COMPUTEX 2025 — the FreeSense Ring and AI TransBuds. These launches mark the brand’s broader shift toward smart wearables and real-time communication tools. Alongside these, the company also unveiled its latest lineup of e-scooters and e-bikes.

Acer FreeSense Ring: Lightweight health tracker with full data access

The FreeSense Ring is designed for users who want to monitor their health discreetly. Built from titanium alloy, the ring can track heart rate, blood oxygen levels, sleep quality, and heart rate variability. Data is synced with a companion app that delivers personalized wellness insights, including sleep stage breakdowns and recommendations.

The ring comes in a range of finishes and sizes, weighs just 2–3 grams, and is water resistant up to 5 ATM. Unlike many smart rings, users can access all tracked data without paying for a subscription.

Acer AI TransBuds: One-way wear, two-way translation

The AI TransBuds are compact earbuds that enable real-time voice translation through a plug-in receiver and mobile connection. Only one person needs to wear the earbuds to use the two-way translation feature, making them useful for conversations, meetings, livestreams, or study sessions.

In addition to spoken translation, the buds also support live captions and transcriptions. They currently recognize and translate 15 languages, including English, Filipino, Japanese, Korean, and Spanish.

Acer eMobility: Scooters and e-bikes for city and trail use

Also featured at the event are new models of Acer e-scooters and e-bikes designed for both urban and recreational settings. The eScooter Series 4 Select and 5 Select, along with Predator ES Storm and ES Thunder, use 400 W to 500 W motors with adaptive brakes and suspension.

Riders can manage their rides through the Acer eMobility App, which offers performance tracking and security options. Also on display is the Predator eRanger fat-tire e-bike, previously shown at the Taipei Cycle Show 2025.
