LG Electronics has launched a new line of portable speakers under its refreshed xboom brand in the Philippines. The new lineup focuses on stylish design, smarter features, and improved sound quality. It includes the xboom Stage 301, Bounce, Grab, and xboom Buds.

Why it matters: LG is shifting its portable audio approach from loud, party-centric designs to more thoughtful, user-driven audio products. With the help of music producer will.i.am, who served as the xboom lineup’s Experiential Architect, the company hopes to deliver audio tuned for clarity, warmth, and immersive everyday use.
The lineup includes four devices with varying use cases:

- LG xboom Stage 301 is built for indoor listening, offering stereo sound with a 6.5-inch woofer and 2.5-inch midrange speakers. It has a 12-hour battery life and IPX4 splash resistance. It also supports karaoke features and DJ effects via the LG ThinQ app.
- LG xboom Bounce is designed for all-day outdoor use. It has a 30-hour battery, dual passive radiators, and twin dome tweeters. The speaker is IP67-rated and passed military-grade durability tests. A built-in strap adds portability.
- LG xboom Grab features a tube-style build with a 16mm dome tweeter for directional sound. It offers 20 hours of use and has an IP67 rating for dust and water resistance. It also comes with a carry strap.
- LG xboom Buds are true wireless earbuds with graphene-coated drivers, triple microphones, and active noise cancellation. They work with a companion app for EQ settings and deliver up to 30 hours of playtime. The earbuds are IPX4-rated.
Each speaker is equipped with LG’s new AI-powered features:
- AI Sound adjusts audio based on the content.
- AI Calibration tunes the sound to fit the room.
- AI Lighting adds visual effects that match the music.
- Auracast Party Link allows multiple xboom speakers to connect for synced playback.
The xboom products are now available in the Philippines. More information is available at https://www.lg.com/ph/audio/xboom.
