Why it Matters: The Saramonic K9 sets a new standard in audio quality and reliability for film productions. With its robust anti-interference performance and cinematic clarity, it’s poised to provide professionals with the tools they need for seamless audio recording, especially in complex shooting environments.

The system is designed to convert audio signals into a digital format before transmission, which significantly reduces interference compared to analog systems. Its ultra-wide UHF spectrum of 550-960 MHz allows for more channels to auto-scan and lock onto optimal frequencies in just 0.3 seconds, even in crowded RF environments.

With a 130 dB dynamic range, the Saramonic K9 delivers high-fidelity recordings that capture everything from whispers to explosions without distortion. The system uses 32-bit float onboard recording, maintaining 192kHz/32bit fidelity across its entire dynamic range, enabling post-production flexibility. Editors can recover clipped dialogue, amplify subtle sounds, or isolate specific frequencies while preserving phase accuracy.

The Saramonic K9 comes equipped with 32GB of storage for onboard 32-bit float recording, ensuring pristine audio for post-production without clipping. Timecode sync provides precise alignment across multi-camera shoots, reducing editing time. The system can control up to 48 devices remotely, allowing for greater flexibility, especially when transmitters are hard to access.

The K9 also includes the industry’s smallest IP67-rated lavalier mic (Ø3mm), making it resistant to dust, sweat, and rain, while remaining virtually invisible on talent. Dual-screen monitoring allows users to check real-time transmitter status and RF health at a glance.
