Antigravity officially introduced the Antigravity A1 in the Philippines during a one-day pop-up showcase held at BGC High Street on December 13. The event marked the first public appearance of the drone in the country and gathered members of the media, filmmakers, and content creators for a hands-on preview.

Antigravity A1 is positioned as the world’s first all-in-one 8K 360 drone. The showcase highlighted how the device is designed for immersive aerial capture, shifting focus from traditional piloting to a more intuitive flying experience built around creative storytelling.
Why it Matters: As drones become more common tools for creators, ease of use and creative flexibility are becoming just as important as technical specs. Antigravity A1 reflects this shift by offering a headset-based flying experience and 360 capture, which could appeal to filmmakers and content creators who want to focus more on framing and storytelling rather than manual controls.
Unlike conventional drones, Antigravity A1 is built around a headset-first flying system. The Vision Goggles and Grip Controller are central to how users interact with the drone. Through point-to-fly motion control, pilots can steer using natural hand movements, which lowers the learning curve while maintaining control.
For more experienced users, traditional FPV controls are also available. Combined with Micro-OLED displays and real-time head tracking, the system aims to deliver a more immersive sense of flight rather than simply operating a camera in the air.
At the core of Antigravity A1 is a dual-lens camera capable of recording 8K 360 video. This allows creators to capture the entire environment in one flight and decide on framing and angles during post-production. The drone also features advanced stabilization to keep footage smooth, even in challenging conditions. This setup allows users to focus more on movement and creative expression instead of camera positioning.
Antigravity A1 weighs 249 grams, placing it under the sub-250g category in many regions. This makes it easier to transport and operate while staying within regulatory limits. Despite its compact size, the drone offers up to 24 minutes of flight time, with optional high-capacity batteries available for longer sessions. A retractable landing gear system helps protect the camera lenses during takeoff and landing while keeping the drone’s view unobstructed.
Live demo at BGC High Street
During the pop-up event, brand filmmaker Sid Maderazo conducted the first live demo flight of Antigravity A1 in the Philippines. Attendees were able to see the drone’s 360 capture and motion-based controls in action under real-world conditions.

The demonstration showed how the drone can be approachable for beginners while still offering creative control for experienced pilots. The event concluded with a toast to mark the official Philippine introduction of Antigravity A1.
