Infinix is set to bring the Hot 10S, the highly anticipated gaming and entertainment smartphone addition to the Hot 10 portfolio, to the Philippines soon.
In the product line-up of Infinix, the Hot series is known for coming up with fun and youthful smartphones with extremely attractive pricing. However, given that some of the specs of the Infinix Hot 10S are seen in mid-range and flagship smartphones, are we seeing it evolve the Hot series into a higher price category? Here are the features we are looking at.
1. MediaTek Helio G85 Chipset: The Infinix Hot 10S is the first in its series to be equipped with MediaTek’s Helio G85 chipset that provides an outstanding performance for avid mobile gamers. The octa-core CPU features two powerful Arm Cortex-A75 CPUs operating up to 2GHz and six Cortex-A55 processors operating up to 1.8GHz, interlinked by a large L3 cache for improved performance.
In the Philippines, while there are smartphones with MediaTek Helio G85 that are below Php 7,000, the ones that combine it with more powerful displays and cameras are already in the mid-range category.
2. 6.82” HD+ display with 90Hz refresh rate: Commonly found in flagship smartphones, high refresh rates of 90Hz onwards enable mobile gamers to enjoy an enhanced viewing experience when watching the latest CGI visual effects. With the addition of 180Hz touch sampling rate, the Infinix Hot 10S delivers optimal responsiveness, with smooth maneuvering and intuitive feedback whenever you swipe the screen or play a high-speed moving footage.
3. Triple 48MP HD Camera with AI: The Infinix Hot 10S stands out in its price category for combining MediaTek Helio G85 chipsets and 90Hz refresh rate with a 48MP triple camera. The Infinix Hot 10S is packed with a 48MP HD rear camera, an AI camera and a 2MP depth camera with rear flash. The all-new Super Nightscape feature enables users to take impressive pictures in dark/low-light scenarios while the 2K resolution video recording captures authentic true-to-life footage.
4. 6000mAh Battery: Smartphones with the MediaTek Helio G85 chipset or a 90Hz display require long-lasting batteries. The Infinix Hot 10S is equipped with a 6000mAh battery that offers 76 hours of calling time on a single charge. Enhanced by power-saving Power Marathon technology that provides an additional 25% power once the battery runs down to 5%, gamers no longer need to think about dreaded battery shutdowns when playing, or embarrassing low battery notifications on video calls.
Infinix announced that the Hot 10S will come to the Philippines in June. Stay tuned for updates for rollout announcements. For more details visit the Infinix website or follow it on social media:
