Why it Matters: Crossovers with major franchises like Resident Evil help sustain player engagement and expand audience reach. This update blends the survival-horror elements of Resident Evil with NIKKE’s futuristic setting, creating a unique experience for fans of both games.

The storyline begins with the detection of a mysterious signal at an abandoned mansion, linked to recent disappearances. Players take on an investigation tied to a cult, unfolding through missions and cutscenes.

Three Resident Evil characters are joining the roster. SSR Ada Wong is available now as a Burst III attacker. SR Claire Redfield is also available during the event, bringing support skills that heal allies and remove debuffs. SSR Jill Valentine will arrive on October 2 with enhanced ammunition mechanics and piercing Burst skills.

Exclusive costumes are also part of the update. Ada’s “Dress” and Jill’s “Battle Suit” can be unlocked through a time-limited pass, with additional outfits for existing NIKKE characters coming later.

The collaboration includes new event content such as a defense mini-game featuring SD versions of Ada, Jill, and Claire, as well as Salvation Breakers, where players organize items and fight waves of enemies. Visual effects like flashlights and mansion backdrops bring in survival-horror touches, alongside Easter eggs for Resident Evil fans.

The Reborn Evil collaboration is available starting September 24, 2025, on iOS, Android, and PC. Players can access it by updating their game to the latest version.

With Ada, Jill, and Claire joining the NIKKE battlefield, will this crossover bring a new wave of players into the game’s expanding community?
