Honor of Kings (HOK) is expanding its esports ecosystem in 2025 with a new roadmap that integrates regional competitions and opens the playing field to more players worldwide. The upcoming season will feature a total investment of $15 million, emphasizing grassroots development, regional professional leagues, and global tournaments.

A New Competitive Structure
Honor of Kings Esports 2025 will have three main competition tiers:
- Grassroots Tournaments: Open for all players, including campus-level competitions.
- Regional Professional Leagues: Organized leagues in various regions to develop top-tier talent.
- Global Tournaments: The highest level of competition, featuring teams from across the world.
Global Tournaments and Regional Leagues
The major global tournaments for 2025 include:
- HOK World Cup: Featuring 18 teams competing for the championship.
- HOK International Championship: Set to take place in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia in November.
Regional professional leagues are also expanding, with new leagues set up in multiple countries:
- Philippines Kings League (April and August seasons, 8 teams per season)
- Malaysia Kings League (April and August seasons, 8 teams per season)
- Indonesia Kings Laga (April and August seasons, 10 teams per season)
- Wildcard Kings Series (For Myanmar, Cambodia, Laos, Singapore, Timor-Leste, Brunei, Hong Kong, and Macau; 8 teams per season)
- Major East League (South Korea Japan, Middle East and North Africa, South Asia; 7 teams per season)
- Major West League (Americas, CIS, Europe, and Türkiye; 7 teams per season)
- Brazil Championship (May and September seasons; 8 teams per season)
Grassroots and Campus Competitions
HOK is also enhancing its grassroots initiatives with the Open Series, which will run in two splits and involve over 150,000 players. Additionally, the Honor of Kings Campus Series (KCS) will provide a platform for university students to compete, featuring a global prize pool of $100,000 across 92 countries.
The Path to Honor ensures that all players have a chance to advance through the competitive ecosystem, from grassroots competitions to professional leagues and international tournaments.
