Global interactive entertainment brand HoYoverse announces Honkai: Star Rail closed beta on PC, iOS, and Android. The said game is the latest addition to the Honkai series that introduces a standalone story with old and brand new characters as well as a turn-based combat system.
Honkai: Star Rail features a game world with elements of myths and legends mixed with space sci-fi, where the galaxy is packed with worlds that feature unique landscapes and stories. In the game, there are the Aeons – incarnations of universal principles that are traveling freely between infinite worlds using primitive force and upholding their own beliefs. There is also the Destruction – who regards the universe as a fallacy and civilization as cancer and casts seeds of a ruin called Stellarons across the galaxy.
The protagonist in the game was implanted with a Stellaron and starts a trip aboard the Astral Express with a group of passengers who have the spirit of the Trailblaze, pursuing the trails of Aeons to explore the universe. The expedition progresses as the protagonist and the crew find the answers to the journey’s purpose and discover the secrets buried.
During the trip, players will meet new companions as well as faces familiar to Honkai series fans, resolve Stellaron-related conflicts, and unravel the mysteries. This RPG also features a newcomer-friendly strategic turn-based combat system and large maps and mazes involving puzzle-solving and exploration, providing players with epic combat and a journey full of surprises and rewards.
