The Red Bull Mobile Esports Open (M.E.O.) is returning for its fourth season in 30 countries, including the Philippines. The Mobile Esports Open will feature the popular battle royale game PlayersUnknown Battlegrounds (PUBG) Mobile.
The Red Bull M.E.O. Season 4 is open to all Filipino mobile game players that will have a chance to battle on a global stage. Players will participate in the two-day National Qualifiers from October 9 to 10, 2021. The top 16 teams that qualify will move to the National Finals where the final four teams will be determined. The final four teams will compete at the Regional Finals on November 20 and 21, 2021. The competing teams will battle for a chance to win up to EUR 10,000 in prizes.
Registration and qualifiers will happen on the below dates:
- September 27 to October 6, 2021 – Tournament Registration
- October 9 to 10, 2021 – National Qualifiers
- October 16, 2021 – National Finals
- November 20 to 21, 2021 – Regional Finals
There will be more than 128 teams that will participate in the qualifiers which will be distributed to eight groups. Each group will consist of more than 16 teams. Each group will play three maps per day over two days of competition. They will be given a maximum playing time of 30 minutes per game.
Participants who will fall short in the National Qualifiers would have a chance to redeem their spot in the Last Chance Qualifier in the International Online Qualifiers. This will take place during the two-month event.
Last year, more than 600,000 players from 28 countries registered for Red Bull M.E.O. Season 3. Well-known players around the world as well as the best mobile esports players competed and attended the tournament.
