Here’s how you can find your precinct online! Registered voters in the Philippines are encouraged to verify their precinct number and polling center ahead of the 2025 National and Local Elections. Doing this helps reduce confusion on election day and ensures a smoother, faster voting process.

The Commission on Elections (COMELEC) has made this process easier through its official precinct finder tool, which is accessible online via a browser. Whether you are a local voter or someone registered overseas, this guide will walk you through the steps on how to find your voter information using the official COMELEC precinct finder.
Why It Matters: Knowing your precinct online ahead of time prevents delays, confusion, or being turned away on election day. This is especially important now that the number of polling places and precinct clusters has been restructured in some areas due to changes in population and administrative zoning.
Step-by-Step Guide to Using COMELEC’s Precinct Online Finder
To check your voter details and assigned precinct online, visit the official COMELEC precinct finder page (https://precinctfinder.comelec.gov.ph/voter_precinct).

After clicking ‘Continue’ on the pop-up window, you will see a page titled “Voter Information” with a form requiring your details.

1. Choose Your Location
The first thing you need to do is choose whether you’re a Local (Philippines) or Overseas voter. Make sure to select the correct option, as this determines the list of provinces and cities that will appear later.
2. Fill in Your Personal Information
The following fields are required:
- First Name: Enter your given name. If you are named “Maria”, try variations such as “MA.”, “MARIA”, or “MA”.
- Middle Name: If you don’t have a middle name, place an underscore (_) or a period (.) as instructed.
- Last Name: Enter your family name.
- Suffix (if applicable): This includes options like Jr., Sr., III, etc. Skip if none.
- Date of Birth: Use the format MM/DD/YYYY (e.g., 03/15/1990).
3. Enter Your Place of Registration
- Province: From the dropdown menu, select the province where you registered as a voter.
- Note: If you are from Isabela City, select the “Special Province” option on the right.
- City/Municipality: Wait for the city/municipality list to load after selecting the province. Choose the correct city or municipality where your voter registration was filed.
Make sure all fields are accurate to avoid errors.
4. Solve the CAPTCHA
Scroll down to find a CAPTCHA checkbox (usually labeled “I am not a robot”) or a puzzle. This is to verify you are a real user and prevent bots from abusing the system.
5. Click the Search Button
After completing all the required fields and CAPTCHA, click the Search button. If all your details match a record in the voter database, your precinct number, polling place name, and other registration details will appear on the screen.
If nothing shows up or you get an error, double-check your entries for typos or try alternate spellings. If you’re still not found, contact your local COMELEC office for assistance.
Things to Remember
- The precinct online finder is only for registered voters. If you’re unsure about your registration status, the same tool will show whether your record exists.
- Registration updates (like transfers or corrections) might take time to reflect in the precinct online system. Make sure your information was updated during the registration period that ended before the 2025 elections.
- If your information appears outdated or missing in the precinct online finder, you can verify directly with your municipal or city election officer.
Tips for a Smooth Voting Experience
- Check early – Don’t wait until election day to check your precinct. Servers may experience high traffic, and we have clustered precincts so experience more people doing the same thing as you do.
- Take note or screenshot your details – Save your precinct number and polling place on your phone or a notebook.
- Visit your polling place before election day – If possible, visit your polling center days before the election to familiarize yourself with the location.
- Bring a valid government-issued ID – While your voter’s ID is ideal, any government-issued ID with your photo and name will be accepted.
What If You’re Voting Overseas?
For registered overseas voters, select the Overseas option at the top of the form. You will be asked for the same personal information but will not need to choose a Philippine province or municipality. The system will return the name of the post (embassy or consulate) where you are scheduled to vote.
With the 2025 National and Local Elections approaching, taking a few minutes to check your voter details and precinct online can save you from unnecessary stress. If you haven’t tried the precinct finder yet, now is a good time to do it. Will you be ready when it’s time to vote?
