Soundcore has launched the R60i NC in the Philippines, succeeding last year’s R50i NC and bringing major upgrades in audio quality, noise cancellation, and smart features while keeping an affordable price tag. What’s the different between the two? We take a look.

Why it Matters: Budget earbuds are becoming more capable, with features like adaptive noise cancellation and Hi-Res Audio support now available in models under PHP 2,000. The R60i NC represents Soundcore’s attempt to bridge performance and affordability in this segment.
The R60i NC introduces larger 11 mm dynamic drivers with Hi-Res Audio certification and LDAC support for high-quality wireless sound. It also improves active noise cancellation, now capable of reducing ambient noise by up to -52 dB, compared to -42 dB on the R50i NC.
Another new addition is real-time AI translation that works across 100 languages, including offline support. The R60i NC also uses a six-microphone AI ENC setup for clearer voice calls and adds 3D spatial sound modes for music, movies, and games.
Battery life remains competitive with up to 10 hours of playback (ANC off) and up to 50 hours with the charging case. A quick 10-minute charge provides 3.5 hours of playback.
