Huawei recently launched the MateBook 14s 2021 as the newest addition to its growing device ecosystem. Touted as the Laptop+, it boasts capabilities to run PC programs and mobile apps-bridging the gap between PC and mobile.
The newest MateBook features a 2.5K FullView display with multi-touch, Smart Brightness Adjustment, Dual Eye Comfort, and 90Hz screen refresh rate with a 90% screen-to-body ratio thanks to its slim screen bezels. Inside is an 11th Gen Intel Core H-Series processor with an integrated Intel Iris X graphics chip and a battery that can run for 13 hours powered by Huawei’s signature 65W SuperCharge fast charging technology.
The built-in Mobile App Engine is a first for a MateBook laptop as this enables the machine to run smartphone apps with no loss in functionality. On the other hand, Huawei Share enables multi-screen collaboration between other Huawei devices included in its device ecosystem which in effect, increases productivity. With a single tap, a Huawei smartphone such as the Huawei nova 9, can project its mobile interface onto the laptop’s screen or connect the laptop to a Huawei tablet and use it as a digital canvas or to a Huawei MateView GT 27-inch for example, as a separate larger display for graphic design tasks.
