We’ve held thin phones before, but nothing quite prepared us for how impossibly slim the Infinix HOT 60 Pro+ feels in the hand. Slipping it out of its preview box was almost surreal, it’s the kind of phone that makes you double-check your pocket just to be sure it’s still there.

Set to launch officially this August, the HOT 60 Pro+ leads the new HOT 60 Series by pushing boundaries, both literally and visually, with what Infinix calls the world’s slimmest 3D-curved AI phone under 6mm.
Phones today are often bulky for the sake of features, but Infinix flips that narrative with the HOT 60 Pro+. At just 5.95mm thick, this phone aims to balance ultra-slim aesthetics with daily performance, offering a fresh direction in mobile design that doesn’t compromise function. It’s not just thin, it’s paper thin.
Unboxing the device Infinix Philippines sent us revealed the following: the phone itself, a domed tempered glass and a single-use display cleaning kit, a translucent hard case, a 45-watt charging brick, a USB-A to USB-C data and charging cable, and a SIM ejector tool.

The Infinix HOT 60 Pro+ is so thin, it disappears, and we mean that both literally and figuratively. For perspective, this device is slimmer than a pencil, barely thicker than a bank card, and could easily hide between the pages of a notebook. Lined up next to a stack of coins and a ball pen, the phone practically vanishes.

At 5.95mm, this isn’t just a cosmetic design choice. Infinix is pushing the limits of smartphone engineering while still offering a curved display and intelligent features. The 3D-curved body gives it a premium edge and a comfortable in-hand feel, with its curves flowing seamlessly into the back panel. It truly stands out as a true engineering flex, redefining what thin actually means in 2025.

The 3D-curved display stretches across the front in a fluid arc, giving it a clean, immersive look. The bezels are minimal, the curve is symmetrical, and despite being ultra-thin, the screen felt solid with no flex or give when gripped tightly. The color options — Coral Tides, Titanium Silver, Sleek Black, and Misty Violet — each offer a distinct look that can match different user personalities and styles.

Despite its ultra-thin body, the Infinix HOT 60 Pro+ carries respectable hardware. It’s powered by the MediaTek Helio G200 chipset, offering enough muscle for casual gaming, social media, and everyday multitasking.
It also comes with up to 16GB RAM (8GB physical + 8GB extended) and 256GB of internal storage, giving it room to handle multiple apps, photos, and media without slowing down.
Running on XOS 15 based on Android 15, the interface feels polished and modern during our early use. The software introduces a few new enhancements over previous versions, including deeper AI integration and smoother visual transitions.
One of the biggest surprises is the 5160mAh battery inside this 5.95mm frame. Packing that much power into a body this thin isn’t just impressive, it’s uncommon. Infinix has somehow made room for a full-day battery without making the device feel bulky or top-heavy.
This speaks to the brand’s effort in optimizing internal layout and component design. For everyday users, it means you get the best of both worlds: an ultra-slim phone that doesn’t sacrifice battery life. Whether you’re binge-watching, scrolling, or taking photos all day, the HOT 60 Pro+ is built to last.

And when it’s time to recharge, 45W fast charging helps you get back to full power without the long wait, useful for those always on the move.
The phone also comes with NFC support, adding a layer of convenience for mobile payments, transit cards, and quick pairing with accessories. It’s the kind of feature that tends to get left out of slim or midrange phones, but it’s here.
There’s also IP65 splash resistance, meaning it can handle minor spills or a quick run through light rain. It’s not fully waterproof, but it’s enough protection for daily accidents, especially when you’re out and about.
Watching videos or swiping through images on the display is a treat, thanks in part to its AMOLED build. While we’ll reserve our verdict on brightness, color accuracy, and refresh rate until the full review, the curved edges alone make for a more engaging visual experience, particularly in landscape mode.

A pleasant surprise is Infinix’s partnership with Viu, giving the Infinix HOT 60 Series users 12 months of free Viu Premium. That means you’ll get ad-free access to all your favorite Korean dramas, right from the moment you boot up your phone. For anyone who’s ever binge-watched on a cramped commute or late-night couch session, this adds real value.
Another big highlight from our early use: the Infinix HOT 60 Pro+ already feels well-integrated with the broader Android ecosystem. Thanks to Google’s AI tools, including Gemini and Circle to Search, you’re getting a phone that doesn’t just look sharp but actually helps you think and move smarter.

These features are starting to feel less like gimmicks and more like must-haves, especially when paired with a clean interface and fast access to smart suggestions, real-time answers, and image-based searches.
From the get-go, it’s clear that the Infinix HOT 60 Pro+ is more than just a design experiment. It’s bringing practical hardware, AI smarts, and useful everyday features into a form factor that’s practically unheard of in today’s market.
The rest of the HOT 60 Series is expected to follow a similar design theme, with variations likely in size, features, and pricing. But the HOT 60 Pro+ is the one making the loudest statement, performance doesn’t have to come in thick packages.
