Why it matters: Southeast Asia is one of the most competitive smartphone markets globally. Gaining the largest shipment increase signals that Infinix is expanding its influence against bigger rivals in the region.

IDC reports that Infinix added over 0.6 million units quarter-on-quarter across Southeast Asia, with strong performances in several countries. The brand secured the top spot in the Philippines and Pakistan, while reaching second place in Indonesia and Bangladesh.

Globally, Infinix shipped 9.6 million smartphones in Q2 2025, marking an 11.7% quarter-on-quarter growth. Its worldwide market share also increased from 2.8% in Q1 to 3.2% in Q2.

In Southeast Asia, shipments surged 27.8% quarter-on-quarter, making Infinix the fastest-growing brand by shipment growth in absolute numbers. In Indonesia, it climbed to second place for the first time, capturing 14.7% of the market and posting a 35.1% growth compared to Q1. In the Philippines, Infinix maintained its lead for the third straight quarter, growing 55.0% year-on-year.

The company also saw strong results in South Asia, with shipments increasing 14.0% quarter-on-quarter. In Pakistan, Infinix has been the market leader for 12 consecutive quarters, expanding its share by 3.5 percentage points in Q2. In Bangladesh, shipments rose 88.3% year-on-year, pushing Infinix to the second position for the first time.

Infinix credited the NOTE 50 Series and the GT 30 Pro gaming-focused model for driving momentum across markets. According to IDC, the brand ranked among the top five smartphone makers in 15 markets worldwide during the quarter.

With upcoming product launches, Infinix aims to build on its momentum and expand its share across more global markets.

Do you think Infinix can sustain this growth against larger competitors like Samsung, Xiaomi, and realme?
