The itel Power 70 aims to stand out by addressing one of the most common pain points among budget smartphone users: battery life. Built with a large 6,000mAh internal battery and supported by a charging case that brings the total capacity up to 10,000mAh, this device is more than just a phone as it’s essentially a portable power solution. Aside from endurance, how does it perform in other key areas? That’s what we want to find out in this review.

itel Power 70 Review: Design and Construction

The itel Power 70 sports a functional look with a focus on durability and practicality. The Black color variant has a subtle mecha design matte finish that resists fingerprints and adds grip, which is helpful for users working outdoors or on the move. At 192 grams, the phone is slightly heavy but expected, given the size of the battery.

Button placement is typical, with the volume rocker and power button (which doubles as a fingerprint scanner) on the right side. The dual SIM and microSD card tray is at the left, while we have the 3.5mm audio jack, microphone, USB-C port, and the single bottom-firing loudspeaker grill.
The frame and back are made of plastic, but the build doesn’t feel overly cheap. There’s also an IP54 rating, giving it resistance to splashes and light dust—a useful addition for people working in unpredictable conditions.
itel Power 70 Review : Display and Audio
The 6.67-inch IPS LCD panel delivers a decent viewing experience, especially for its class. The HD+ resolution means visuals aren’t the sharpest, but brightness levels reach up to 700 nits, making the screen usable under direct sunlight. The 120Hz refresh rate is a surprising feature at this price, offering smoother scrolling and animations compared to typical budget phones stuck at 60Hz.

Audio output from the speaker is average, suitable for calls and casual media consumption. There’s a 3.5mm headphone jack included, which is a welcome feature for users who still rely on wired audio gear.
itel Power 70 Review: Camera

Photography isn’t the focus of the itel Power 70, and that shows in its basic camera setup. The 13MP rear camera captures okay images in well-lit conditions but struggles with detail, color balance, and focus in low light scenarios. The auxiliary sensor adds little to the overall experience, serving mostly to support basic scene detection or portrait effects.
The 8MP front camera does a decent job with selfies and video calls, especially under natural lighting. Don’t expect much from the camera software, though—it offers only the essentials: HDR, beauty filters, and basic video modes.
The phone records video at 1080p 30fps maximum, with a 4x digital zoom present. Shaking is very noticeable as the device does not have any stabilization present.
itel Power 70 Review: Performance

Powered by the MediaTek Helio G50 Ultimate, the itel Power 70 delivers just enough performance for essential tasks: texting, web browsing, video streaming, and light social media use. With 4GB RAM, multitasking is manageable as long as you keep it light. Gaming is also decent with Mobile Legends: Bang Bang running on low to mid settings with a few frame drops. Opening multiple apps or switching frequently between them can slow things down.

Storage is generous with 128GB or 256GB options, and the microSD slot supports up to 1TB cards. This makes it suitable for users who store large files locally, like videos or downloaded media.

itel OS 14.5, based on Android 14, is a lightweight system with a clean interface. While there are a few pre-installed apps, the bloat is minimal. Navigation feels smooth, helped by the 120Hz display, though transitions occasionally lag when the system is under stress.
Connectivity options are complete: dual SIM, 4G LTE, Bluetooth 5.0, Wi-Fi, GPS, and USB-C are all here. The side-mounted fingerprint sensor is responsive and reliable.
itel Power 70 Review: Battery and Charging
Battery life is the itel Power 70’s biggest selling point. The 6,000mAh battery already provides more than a full day of moderate to heavy use. With the optional charging case, the total capacity jumps to 10,000mAh—enough for two full days of screen time for light users or over 12 hours of screen-on time for streamers, riders, and live sellers.
Charging is handled via an 18W fast charger, which takes around 2 hours to fully charge the phone. The case charges separately, and together they create a powerbank-style experience. For users who spend most of the day outdoors or in transit, this setup minimizes the need to carry additional charging gear.
The Rundown

The itel Power 70 is made for a specific user: someone who needs extended battery life more than high-end specs. It suits those who work long shifts, consume media heavily on mobile data, or live in areas where access to charging outlets is limited. While its camera and raw performance are entry-level, the Power 70 offers solid reliability and long-lasting endurance.
The itel Power 70 is now available nationwide via itel stores, Kiosks, and online at Lazada, Shopee, and Tiktok starting at PHP 4,899 for thr 4GB/128GB variant, while the beefier 256GB storage model is available for PHP 5,499.
