Altos Computing, a subsidiary of Acer, has launched an updated version of its BrainSphere T15 F6 server. Now powered by the new AMD EPYC 4005 Series processors, the upgraded server aims to give small-to-medium-sized businesses (SMBs), government offices, and schools a faster, more efficient, and easier-to-manage IT solution.

Why it Matters: As more businesses shift to digital tools, there’s a growing need for affordable yet powerful servers. With better speed and power-saving features, the Altos BrainSphere T15 F6 is positioned to meet the rising demand for dependable and scalable computing.
The updated BrainSphere T15 F6 now offers up to 19% better single-core performance compared to the previous version. It uses AMD’s 3D V-Cache technology to improve computing power while staying energy efficient—key features for offices that need to run multiple tasks smoothly without raising electricity costs.
Altos General Manager Jackie Lee explained that the company wants to give SMBs and other organizations access to server solutions that don’t just deliver strong performance but are also cost-effective and easy to maintain. He said the new T15 F6 aims to help businesses manage operations better and move forward in their digital transformation.
The server includes modern features such as DDR5 memory, PCIe Gen 5 slots for high-bandwidth add-ons, M.2 storage, and support for up to 32TB of hard drive space. It also has USB 3.2 ports for fast data transfers, allowing users to scale the system based on their growing storage and application needs.
One key update is its use of a Realtek network controller that supports the DASH standard. Unlike traditional BMC setups, this allows IT staff to monitor and manage the server’s power and health remotely—even when it’s turned off. This can help save time and cut down on maintenance costs.
With this update, Altos is giving SMBs and institutions a compact yet capable server platform that can adapt as needs grow.
Is this kind of affordable performance what your business needs in 2025?
