Apple Fans! Rejoice! The big A has sent out invites and confirmed the date of Apple’s yearly September event. Here’s what to expect.
iPhone 14 series, iOS 16, Apple Watch Series 8, and AirPods Pro 2
To kill off the notch on iPhones which some of you are annoyed with, a long-rumored ” hole + pill-shaped” display cutout for sensors will be implemented in the more-expensive iPhone 14 Pro and iPhone 14 pro max. These pro models are also rumored to have a camera upgraded on a front-facing camera, as well as back cameras.
Meanwhile, rumor has it that there will be no ‘mini’ 5.7″ inch model on the regular iPhone 14, unlike its predecessors like the 2020 iPhone 12 mini and 2021 iPhone 13 mini. Instead, a bigger 6.7″ inch ‘iPhone 14 Max’ will replace the ‘mini’ model.
On the other hand, it is also expected that there will be an Apple Watch Series 8 and a larger 8 Pro series in the event, following the rumor according to Bloomberg’s Mark Gurman.
Finally, the much-anticipated public release of iOS 16 for iPhones, as it finishes development before the event. Meanwhile, iPad OS 16 for iPad and tvOS 16 for Apple TV will be expected to release also on September 7 simultaneously.
There will be a ton of new products have been rumored to be announced in the pipeline this year, such as redesigned entry-level iPad 10, the teased Mac Pro with Apple Silicon chip, and Airpods Pro Gen 2, but it is unclear that it will be announced also on September 7 event.
