ASUS Philippines has officially introduced the ASUS Gaming V16 (V3607) and ASUS Gaming X16 (K3605), a new budget-friendly laptop line for gamers. These laptops are part of ASUS’ goal to provide more accessible gaming options to a wider audience in the country.
Why it matters: With more gamers in the Philippines looking for capable yet affordable gaming laptops, ASUS aims to offer entry-level options with decent performance and features. These new models are meant to support beginners who want to get into PC gaming without spending a fortune.
The ASUS Gaming V16 and X16 feature up to Intel Core 5 (210H) or Core i5-13420H processors, up to NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5060 graphics, and 16-inch 144Hz FHD IPS displays with 16:10 aspect ratios. They support up to 16GB DDR5 RAM and 512GB SSD storage. Other features include an expanded touchpad, Turbo Blue keyboard backlight, AI noise cancellation, and Dirac-powered audio with ASUS Audio Booster.
Both laptops are also equipped with ASUS IceCool Thermal Technology (dual fans and heat pipes), military-grade durability (MIL-STD-810H), and up to 63Wh batteries. The V16 comes in Matte Black and weighs 1.95kg, while the X16 comes in Indie Black at 1.8kg.
For ports, both laptops include two USB-A ports, one USB-C, HDMI, DC-in, and an audio combo jack. The X16 has an additional SD card reader.
ASUS Gaming V16/X16 Philippines pricing and availability
The ASUS Gaming laptops are now available in the Philippines starting May 6, 2025, in ASUS and ROG stores as well as authorized partners. RTX 5060 versions will follow in June.
