ASUS Zenbook S16 and Zenbook 14 Copilot+ PCs now official in the Philippines, priced

ASUS has launched two new Copilot+ PC laptops in the Philippines, the Zenbook S16 (UM5606GA) and Zenbook 14 (UM3406GA). Both models run on the AMD Ryzen AI 400 Series processors and support up to 50 NPU TOPS for on-device AI workloads.

The new Zenbook models target professionals and students who need performance in a thin and portable laptop. ASUS positions the two devices as premium ultraportables that combine AI capabilities, OLED displays, and long battery life.

Why it Matters: AI features are becoming part of everyday computing tasks such as video calls, productivity tools, and media processing. Laptops with dedicated neural processing units can run these features locally, which may improve speed, efficiency, and privacy.

The ASUS Zenbook S16 focuses on a larger display and higher-end configuration. It measures 1.1 cm thin and weighs 1.5 kg, which ASUS says is designed to offer a large-screen experience without the weight typically associated with 16-inch laptops.

The device uses an all-metal chassis topped with a Ceraluminum lid, a ceramic and aluminum composite designed for durability and scratch resistance. It is available in Scandinavian White and features the ASUS ErgoSense keyboard and a large touchpad with Smart Gesture controls.

Powering the Zenbook S16 is the AMD Ryzen AI 9 465 processor paired with AMD Radeon graphics, 32GB LPDDR5X memory, and a 1TB M.2 SSD. ASUS says the processor delivers up to 50 TOPS of NPU performance for AI-related workloads such as image processing, video enhancements, and system optimization.

The laptop also uses a Thincredible thermal design that includes a CNC-machined 3D vapor chamber and dual IceBlade fans to handle up to 28W CPU TDP. ASUS says the cooling system keeps noise levels below 25 dBA while maintaining stable performance.

The Zenbook S16 features a 16-inch 3K ASUS Lumina OLED touchscreen display with a 120Hz refresh rate, up to 500 nits brightness, and 100 percent DCI-P3 color coverage. Audio is delivered through a six-speaker Dolby Atmos system composed of four tweeters and two woofers.

Connectivity options include WiFi 7, dual USB4 ports, USB 3.2 Gen 2 Type-A, HDMI 2.1, an SD card reader, and a 3.5 mm audio jack. Security features include Windows Hello, an ASUS AiSense IR camera, Adaptive Lock, Adaptive Dimming, Microsoft Pluton, passkeys support, and ASUS Voice Print.

The ASUS Zenbook 14, on the other hand, focuses on portability. It weighs 1.2 kg and measures 14.9 mm thin. The laptop uses an all-metal chassis in Jade Black.

It runs on the AMD Ryzen AI 7 445 processor with AMD Radeon graphics and supports up to 50 TOPS NPU performance. The configuration includes 16GB LPDDR5X memory and a 1TB M.2 SSD. The device has a 14-inch WUXGA ASUS Lumina OLED display with a 16:10 aspect ratio and an 87 percent screen-to-body ratio. ASUS says the display is designed for both productivity and media consumption.

Battery capacity is rated at 75 Wh, which ASUS says can deliver up to 25 hours of use. The laptop supports USB-C Easy Charge, allowing charging through compatible power banks or USB-C adapters. The Zenbook 14 includes ports such as USB4, USB 3.2 Gen 2 Type-C, USB 3.2 Gen 1 Type-A, HDMI 2.1 (TMDS), and a 3.5 mm audio jack.

Additional features include Dolby Atmos speakers, an FHD IR camera with a privacy shutter, AI noise cancelation, and Windows Hello facial recognition. The laptop also includes a dedicated Copilot key for quick access to Windows AI features.
