CapCut is introducing updates to its subscription system beginning May 22, 2025, to enhance the editing experience and meet users’ evolving needs. The new subscription model will offer a more flexible two-tier structure: Standard and Pro.
Why it Matters: This change aims to accommodate a broader range of users—from casual editors to professional creators—by giving them more options and access to advanced tools depending on their needs.
The Capcut Standard Plan is designed for casual editors and will include a wide selection of templates and creative assets, along with complete tools for everyday editing. It will cost PHP 359 per month or PHP 2,150 per year and will auto-renew.
Meanwhile, the Capcut Pro Plan will be upgraded for professional users and content creators focused on marketing. The updated pricing for the Pro Plan is PHP 719 per month or PHP 4,299 per year, also with automatic renewal. The new Pro tier will include notable enhancements such as:
- Increase in AI credits to 1600 per month
- Expanded cloud storage from 100 GB to 1 TB
- Additional exclusive features only available for Pro subscribers
CapCut is also offering limited-time exclusive deals to existing Pro subscribers as a token of appreciation. The offers include:
- For users with active auto-renewing Pro subscriptions (monthly or yearly), current pricing and benefits will continue.
- Users who cancel auto-renewal will still be able to enjoy Pro benefits until the end of their current subscription period and may upgrade at any time.
CapCut encourages users to check their settings under “Me” > “Pro icon” > “Plans and Subscriptions” to view or manage their subscriptions easily.
