The 2026 International Consumer Electronics Show (CES 2026) opened on January 6 in Las Vegas, gathering major technology companies from around the world. The company says it is pushing faster integration of AI across its product lineup. One of the highlights is its panda-themed AI series, which uses a panda character as part of the interface. The goal is to make interactions feel more natural through voice, environment sensing, and adaptive controls. The AI TV features a built-in assistant called Panda Xiaobai for continuous interaction. The AI refrigerator uses cloud-based humidity control to help keep food fresh, while the AI air conditioner adjusts cooling in a way meant to feel closer to natural airflow. The AI washing machine, meanwhile, uses a multi-stage cleaning system designed to improve fabric care.

Changhong also showed several new flagship products at the event. These include a 100-inch RGB MiniLED TV with a slim body, anti-glare screen, and support for large AI models for voice interaction. The company also introduced the AI Air Manager 360-degree air conditioner, which combines temperature control with air quality management and can learn user habits to improve comfort and energy use.

In the kitchen, Changhong presented a new full-space preservation refrigerator that uses AI-based freshness management and a dual cooling system to reduce odor mixing and temperature changes. For laundry, the new AI washer-dryer set can detect fabric types and automatically choose suitable washing and drying programs.

According to the company, these products are part of a wider effort to build a more connected smart home system centered on user experience. Changhong says it continues to expand its international presence through its global strategy, which covers research and development, manufacturing, and services.

By combining AI features with more distinctive product design, Changhong is positioning its smart home appliances as both functional and easier to use in everyday life. Do you think AI features like these will soon become standard in most home appliances?
