On May 30, 2024, CHERRY Cares by MSN Foundation, Inc., the Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) arm of CHERRY, entered into a Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) with the Eulogio “Amang” Rodriguez Institute of Science and Technology (EARIST) to launch the CherrySkwela Educational Assistance Program. This initiative aims to enhance the educational landscape by offering scholarship grants, internship opportunities, customized learning experiences, case management, and youth organizing activities to students across various universities.
Through this partnership, CHERRY Cares and EARIST will select and support ten (10) undergraduate students through a rigorous selection process. These students will receive academic assistance, reinforcing CHERRY Cares’ commitment to advocating for quality education and providing valuable support to deserving students.
Ms. Agnes Conopio, PR-CSR Head of CHERRY Philippines, emphasized the importance of equal access to education, stating, “Each student deserves access to and resources for excellent quality education. Through our partnership, CHERRY Cares continues to actively advocate for their rights and offers valuable academic support.”
The MOA signing marks a significant milestone in fostering educational development at EARIST, aligning with CHERRY Cares’ core values and commitment to lifelong learning. Additionally, this collaboration opens doors for students to explore career opportunities within CHERRY Philippines, further enriching their academic journey and professional growth.
