Clicks Technology has announced the Clicks Power Keyboard, a compact Bluetooth keyboard designed to address one persistent issue across modern smart devices: slow and awkward text input.

Why it Matters: As smartphones, tablets, smart TVs, and even AR and VR headsets continue to add more features, typing on these devices often remains limited by touchscreens, remotes, or virtual keyboards. Clicks positions the Power Keyboard as a practical alternative, offering physical keys for users who frequently type, search, or navigate text-heavy interfaces on the go.
According to Clicks, the Power Keyboard builds on the demand seen with its earlier keyboard cases for smartphones, which shipped more than 100,000 units globally. Unlike those cases, the Power Keyboard is designed to work across a wider range of devices, including iOS and Android phones, tablets, smart TVs, and headsets.
For smartphones, the keyboard connects using MagSafe or Qi2 magnets and can be used even with an existing case. Offloading typing from the touchscreen frees up screen space, while standard iOS and Android keyboard shortcuts are supported for navigation and app control. The keyboard can also be adjusted to fit different phone sizes and rotated to landscape mode for longer typing sessions.
Beyond phones, the Power Keyboard is positioned as a lightweight option for tablets, offering basic productivity without the size of a full keyboard. When paired with smart TVs, it replaces on-screen keyboards and remotes for tasks like entering passwords or searching for content. Clicks also highlighted use in AR and VR environments, where physical input can be more efficient than virtual keyboards.

The device features a full QWERTY layout with a dedicated number row, directional keys, and contoured key shapes designed for consistent typing. It also includes a built-in 2,150 mAh battery that powers the keyboard and can wirelessly charge a smartphone via MagSafe or Qi2, allowing it to double as a small power bank.
Kevin Michaluk, president and co-founder of Clicks, said the goal was to provide a consistent typing experience across devices that are increasingly used for work and communication but remain limited by their input methods.
The keyboard supports pairing with multiple devices at once, with quick switching between Bluetooth profiles using keyboard shortcuts. Users can also customize key behavior, lighting, and other settings through the Clicks app on iOS and Android.
Clicks Power Keyboard is available for pre-order starting January 2, with availability expected in the spring. Early-bird pricing is set at USD 79, while the standard retail price is USD 109.
For users who regularly type on multiple devices and want a single, pocket-sized solution, the Clicks Power Keyboard presents itself as a practical attempt to solve ongoing portable keyboard frustrations.
