Why it matters: The Ookla Speedtest Awards are based on actual performance tests from users nationwide. Winning all four awards for three straight years highlights Converge’s consistent delivery of fast, reliable, and high-quality internet service in the Philippines.

The company first made its mark in 2022, winning Top Rated Fixed Network in the first half of that year and Best ISP Video Experience in the second half. In 2023, it achieved a clean sweep of all four awards, a feat it has now repeated twice.

At the August 12 ceremony, Converge received the following awards for 1H 2025:
Fastest Fixed Network – Speed Score of 63.46, the highest nationwide, marking three years as the fastest fixed internet provider.
Best ISP Video Experience – Video Score of 75.60, ensuring smooth, high-quality streaming even during peak usage.
Best ISP Gaming Experience – Game Score of 82.33, delivering low latency and stable gameplay for both casual and competitive gamers.
Best Fixed Network – Speedtest Connectivity Score of 73.77, showing balanced performance in speed, uptime, responsiveness, and stability.

“This victory is a shared one with every Converge subscriber who chose us for a better internet experience,” said Benjamin Azada, Converge EVP and Chief Operations Officer.

“This is just the start. These awards fuel our move from being a telco to a tech company, as we aim to power more digital journeys in the future,” added John Paul Aguilar, Converge SVP and Head of Consumer and SME business unit.

Do you think more years of consistent wins will convince Filipinos to change their internet provider?
