Google is raising the prices of its Google One cloud storage plans in multiple countries, including the Philippines, starting February 18, 2025. The price hike affects both new and existing subscribers who use Google Drive, Photos, and Gmail for additional storage.

Why It Matters: Google One is widely used for storing files, emails, and photos, making it a crucial service for many individuals and businesses. With this price adjustment, users will have to decide whether to continue their subscriptions, switch to annual plans for discounts, or explore alternative cloud storage options.
This change comes alongside a restructuring of Google One plans, including the introduction of the 2TB AI Plan, which includes Gemini Advanced, Gemini in Gmail, Docs, and more, as well as NotebookLM Plus—a new AI-powered note-taking tool.
