Grab Philippines is introducing a Valentine’s Day campaign that highlights flexible, on-demand options for users planning celebrations this February 14.

Why It Matters: Valentine’s Day typically drives a spike in transport bookings, food delivery, and gifting. By promoting features such as scheduled deliveries, group ordering, and advance bookings, Grab is positioning its app as a practical tool for managing both last-minute and early plans.
Called “V-Day Your Way, Easy with Grab,” the initiative showcases how Filipinos can organize date nights, solo meals, group hangouts, and gift deliveries through the platform’s mobility, food, and delivery services. The company said Valentine’s Day remains one of its strongest seasonal moments in terms of consumer demand.
Grab Philippines Chief Commercial Officer EJ Dela Vega said the company continues to rely on its delivery fleet, merchant network, and mobility services to support different types of celebrations.
Based on company data, GrabMart demand historically increases on February 14 compared to regular days. Frequently ordered items include coffee packs for two, Ecuadorian roses, and chocolates, reflecting continued interest in traditional Valentine’s gifts.
For early planners, Grab offers Order for Later and a 14-day advance booking option on GrabMart for flowers and gifts. Users dining out can access discounts of up to 50 percent through Grab Dine-Out at select partner restaurants.
The platform also reported that solo meals rank among the top Valentine’s Day orders. Its Meal for One option features single-portion meals with all-in pricing to address minimum spend concerns.
For group celebrations, Grab said Group Order transactions have historically grown threefold, allowing multiple users to add items to one cart and split payments through the app.
The campaign runs through mid-February with selected promo codes offering additional discounts on dine-out deals, gifts, and food orders on specific dates.
With more Filipinos choosing different ways to celebrate February 14, will flexible, app-based planning become the new normal for Valentine’s Day?
